AS/400 Competency Center
Sierra Computer Group offers core competency in AS/400 modernization, replatforming, and integration. The foundation for these AS/400 services is our many years of experience working with the AS/400 and other IBM midrange systems.
- Within IBM, Sierra played a key role in the implementation of REXX and DCE for AS/400.We can offer the in-depth knowledge we’ve acquired from working on AS/400 system internals in IBM laboratories.
- Sierra has also provided on- and offsite support for AS/400’s installed base, creating custom payroll and HR packages for financial, insurance, and transportation companies.
- For third-party middleware vendors, Sierra has developed adapter technology to extend and improve AS/400 connectivity.
- Using our adapter technology, along with custom development, Sierra facilitated the integration of AS/400 and other, diverse platforms across the subsidiaries and parent of a rapidly-expanding major media conglomerate.
